Student Responsibilities
Be organized
Buy the following:
A one or two-subject wire-bound notebook for your Class notes.
A 40-page notebook to use as your Journal.
An A4, plastic folder for your English handouts.
Bring the required books and materials to every class, unless told otherwise by the teacher.

Be smart
Don’t share books, pens, pencils with anybody. Sanitize / wash your hands regularly.
Be ready
Be in class on time and ready to work when the bell rings.
Regularly check our weekly agendas and classroom material uploaded to Amalthea. And don’t forget to check your inbox for emails!
Respect all deadlines
Make sure that you have done your reading/ watched videos/ completed any other required assignments before class. Hand in / upload your assignments to Amalthea on time.
Treat everyone and their property with respect.
This means being an active listener in the class and an active participant, using accountable talk when having conversations and/ or Socratic Seminars (Ex: I agree with______ because, or I hear what _______ is saying but I disagree because according to the reading….)
