Class participation/Speaking
Formative Assessments/ Classwork
Summative Assessments-Socratic Seminars, Midterm/Final Exams
Student Responsibilities:
Be organized
Buy the following:
A one-subject, wire-bound notebook (Class Notes)
An A4, plastic folder for your English handouts
Bring the required books and materials to every class, unless told otherwise by the teacher.
Be ready:
Be in class on time and ready to work when the bell rings.
Regularly check our weekly agendas and classroom material uploaded to Amalthea and don’t forget to check your inbox for emails!
Respect all deadlines:
Make sure that you have done your reading/ watched videos/ completed any other required assignments before class. Hand in/ upload your assignments onto Amalthea on time.
This is a safe environment where we will be sharing our ideas during discussion, collaborative learning and via Socratic Seminars.
Respect for ALL is vital for us to have a safe learning environment
Expectations of each other should and will be held at a high standard so you receive the best possible instruction while producing your best quality of work.
